Windex has been around since 1933 and is probably the most famous glass cleaner there is. Originally extremely flammable (and sold in a can), it has since been reformulated into something a bit more user friendly. The product now has many different formulas, scents, and colors (thought true Windex users will always go for the familiar blue liquid—the true Windex). Although it has long been joked that Windex can be used to fix or clean anything, the original household spray is still just marketed as a glass cleaner. Despite that marketing, however, Windex (or any glass cleaner, actually) can be used for a multitude of tasks, not just cleaning glass or, in fact, cleaning anything at all.
